I received my cross from a dear friend of mine for my birthday. Her primary home is in Orlando, Florida and mine is in Huntsville, Alabama. We both own a mountain home in Sapphire, North Carolina in the Burlingame community. It is here where I met Susie five years ago, as we come to the mountains to spend our spring and summers. We both are women of faith and have had to rely on Christ’s grace and mercy to guide us through some of the most difficult times. I do believe our steadfast belief that He is always near allows us to feel His presense and know that His love for us remains forever
