Surrounded by her close family resting peacefully at home, the greatest woman I have ever known gracefully rose to heaven March 25th 2019. Regina Gray Kennedy was the strongest mother and wife who’s faith in Jesus Christ was rock solid. She always lived life to the fullest with no regrets and fought valiantly after her diagnosis. Throughout her 20 month journey with pancreatic cancer, she never doubted God’s plan for her. Regina stood strong through all the tests, treatments, hair loss, weight loss and suffering to beat the odds. Only 20% of pancreatic cancer patients live longer than 12 months. I am sorry that we could not finish raising our kids and growing OLD TOGETHER, but I promised her I will do a great/ job raising them the right way with her looking down from Heaven upon us each day.
Please keep me and my 4 children in your prayers. Regina was my only love since we were high school sweethearts in 1994. She will be forever in our memories, hearts and ever looking down on us until we meet again in heaven. I will always love you more Regina Gray Kennedy!!!
I cannot thank everyone enough for their prayers, meals, rides, donations, time, care and help during this journey. It made life more tolerable in the most difficult times.
It seems that cancer is all around us and closer to each one of us than ever before. There needs to be a cure in our lifetime!
