I received this cross from my mom, Theresa after she returned from NCYC, I am a college student and had recently gone through a break up with my long term boyfriend, Alex. Someone I thought I had the rest of my life planned out with was suddenly gone, not the person I thought he was. The cross speaks to me because of the footprints, and dark cloudy color to it. Every journey begins with one step, and the footprints on this one represent to me, the many people that will walk into my life on my journey and also the footprints going strait up and down remind me to not look back into the past, but face my future, whatever it may be and move forward and start my life.
