Sugar Hill, GA
I met you today at Marist HS. I was the teary eye-ed woman who was with her mother. I told you that I had chosen a special cross for my son with medical issues. Wesley has a rare condition called Prune Belly Syndrome, and we were recently told that he likely has Asperger’s Syndrome. This cross “God Bless our Child” instantly spoke to me today when I was looking through the sea of beautiful crosses. I plan to hang it in his room as a reminder that God will help us get through all of the hard times that we may go through as he prepares for major abdominal surgery this spring, new experiences at his new special needs preschool, and the possibility of a 2nd major surgery. He has already had 4 minor surgeries in his 3 1/2 years of life. I needed a reminder today that everything will be alright. Thank you so much for your special gift.
