I purchased this cross at the National Catholic Youth Conference in Indianapolis in November 2011. As I passed by the table, the crosses made an impression on me and I stopped to look. As the woman told me the story of “paying it forward” I had to buy a couple. After I thought about the ministry, I went back the next day and bought 3 more to give to my sisters to start as well.
Sometimes a person just needs a little reassurance when they are going through a struggle, and I thought this would be the perfect way to share God’s love with a friend or neighbor in need. When I was going through a hard time, it helped me to know there were other people who had similar stories and stuggles and that I wasn’t alone in my journey. I pray these crosses will be able to touch other’s lives and be a reminder of God’s love. If you surrender everything to God, he WILL take care of you.
