As I celebrated my 50th year, I encouraged family and friends to purchase a toy for Toys for Tots in lieu of gifts. After all, I have more than I truly need in way of possessions. One of my best buddies felt compelled to offer a token to celebrate my day, so the cross was given. And I needed it!
