I received my cross from my dear Christian Sister Farris during my battle and recovery from pneumonia, sepsis, and thyroid cancer. It represents the prayers and love shared with me and my family during a very trying and difficult time in our lives. Those prayers and love, along with the cross of Christ, carried us through that year of difficulty and showed us God’s grace in wonderful ways.
