I received this cross from my son’s girlfriend today. She was at the Catholic Women’s Conference in St. Louis. Jessica told me she knew when she saw it the cross was for me. What Jessie didn’t know was that I was feeling quite down this week. This week is the anniversary of the loss of first my best friend and then my mother. I just prayed today for someone to care about me. When Jessie gave me this cross, it was like an answered prayer.
