I received this gorgeous cross while I was helping make other crosses to be distributed. I’ve been at the point in my life where I wake up every morning wishing that I wasn’t here, not knowing what i’m going to do for the rest of my life/career, and not listening to God. I didn’t feel as if he left me, just that he checked out for a while. On the day my mother called and told me about the opportunity to make crosses, I was feeling especially sorry for myself and feeling completely hopeless and lost. I heard Elizabeth talking about her story and realized that it wasn’t my time to find out my purpose, I need to have patience and trust in the lord that he will show me what I am supposed to do when I finally sit still long enough for him to show me.
