I received this cross from my very best friend, my sister Lynda. Her support and encouraging words give me strength and a positive attitude during such a difficult time. I’m 54 years old and a single mom. I lost my job of over 20 years two and a half years ago. I lost my house and am now living with my mom in her extra bedroom. For that, I am fortunate. My children, although, self-sufficient at 18 and 20 years old stay with friends. They are very unsettled and I worry , as any mother would. I know there are many people in my situation who are much less fortunate and my prayers are with them. I thank God for my faith, my family and now this cross.
