I came to St. Petersburg to do a residency at the St. Petersburg Clay Company. When I arrived, my living situation fell apart and I found myself without a place to stay in a new city. I went to St Pete Clay to look for help. I found Elizabeth and Sean. They immediately offered to have me stay with them while I looked for a new place. A few days turned into a few weeks and a few weeks turned into two months. I found myself adopted.
In the tumultuous two years I spent in St. Pete, Elizabeth was there every step of the way. Through breakups and bad roomates, car wrecks and triumphant successes. She was always there when I needed her the most.
I have now moved on from St Petersburg, and am about to start as a graduate student in ceramics at Indiana University. The program here is one of the best in the country. I would not be here without Elizabeth.
I’m not sure exactly what’s out there as far as God goes, but Elizabeth truly is an instrument of love and all that is good in this world and I am thankful to have her love and friendship
