I received this cross from my mom who got it at my high school when you all visited. I don’t think she really understood what it mean to receive it for me..
My current boyfriend is Atheist and I am struggling to hold onto my own faith while loving him. I guess I just kept seeing the flaws in the Catholic Church’s teachings on people who are baptized that stray away from the Church. But this cross, when I saw it, made me think about the not-so-clear-cut teachings in my faith that actually make the faith so beautiful. This cross is for him.. I’m praying that he finds God’s light on his own, I will not force it upon him..
