I attended a retreat at my church and was invited to choose a cross. I saw “Joy” and knew this was the one. At the time of this retreat my father’s angel here on earth, his caretaker Joy, had undergone surgery and was experiencing life threatening complications. My siblings and I still keep in close contact with Joy after my dad passed, even though we all live in different cities. As families sometimes do, two of my brothers had a disagreement and were not speaking to each other. This situation troubled Joy immensely and once again, she (unknowingly) was a caretaker to our family. One of the brothers contacted the other to inform him of Joy’s condition and as a result of this phone call, they began speaking to one another again. When I heard my brothers were speaking again, I prayed that Joy would survive to hear the good news. I am sending this cross to her as a reminder of how she has touched and will continue to touch our lives.
