My friend, Jeanette Rivera, gave it to me after I lost my father in September. His passing was the third loss of someone so very special to me in a 4 year period. ( I also had lost my mother,unexpectedly, and my wonderful husband had died of lung cancer, previously) Jeanette could see how brokenhearted I was and shared her love and sympathy with me by presenting me with the cross. What a wonderful gift and a special comfort.
