I attended the NCEA Conference in Houston, TX Spring 2013. Elizabeth had a booth among the vendors and I stopped to admire the little clay crosses – she invited me choose one which she wrapped and gave to me with a big hug…I was touched by the ministry which gently pours dignity into the heart and soul of the recipient. I immediately knew the person I wanted to bless with my cross. A sweet, tender woman who has suffered the loss of a son; who reaches out to others through her vocation as a teacher and by volunteering in religious education classes that involve whole families. A gentle woman who brings Christ to those she meets each day. A faith-filled woman who lives the lesson of the mustard seed…..
