My cross was given to me by a very dear friend at lunch one day. She had bought several of them and had them laid out so we could e each choose the one thing highest “spoke” to us. As she was explaining the story of how she got these crosses, our waitress was listening in and became overwhelmed with emotion, prompting us to pray for her. My friend also let her choose a cross for herself. It was all very moving. I still have my cross, but I believe I know who I’m giving it to this week. She is a very special friend who is facing financial hardships. It is truly testing her faith and I know it will strengthen her, but it is hard to watch her go through it. My cross says Trust. I pray it will be a blessing to her!
