I was given this cross when I was in prayer about God’s call to me to adopt. I have 3 teenagers, and was not looking to adopt a child, but God called me to do it anyway. I simply prayed, and ask God if He wanted us to adopt, to send us a child. Through a family friend, He did just that. My husband was not open to the adoption at that time, and that is when my aunt sent this cross. As I continued to pray, my husband fell in love with this little boy that is now our son. I plan to pass this cross on to his aunt who had custody of him for mother’s day, to thank her for blessing us with him, and to help her believe she made such a selfless decision to give him a life he deserves, with parents, grandparents, and siblings that adore him!
