I received my cross from a friend and Relay for Life team member when I was diagnosed with hairy cell leukemia. My friend has been a breast cancer survivor for 3 years now, and she received one of these crosses when she was battling this disease. I have received many gifts from friends and co-workers during my treatment and recovery, but my AnsweredPrayers cross was my favorite gift of all!
Even though I love my cross, I feel it is time to pass it on to a life long, dear friend who is also battling cancer.
