Cross #14.3811

I recently lost my husband of 40 years. He had lost his battle with prostate cancer after 15 years in and out of treatment when the cancer metastasized to his spine. The last year and a half he had been in serious pain. No matter how long you know that the cancer will eventually take your loved one’s life, it is still a shock when it happens. My daughter gave me the butterfly cross to help me through my grieving. When my mother/ her grandmother died we released butterflies so they are particullarly meaningful for us. They are a reminder that life goes on and when we see one we remember our loved one.
