Each year my mother and two sisters and I take a Mother/Daughter vacation. Each year we all buy the same item as a remembrance of our trip. Last year, due to finances and poor health my sisters decided to come to my winter home in Phoenix rather than go somewhere more costly. It was wonderful. We relaxed around our neighbor’s pool and fixed meals together with absolutely no agenda. My mom and sisters expressed it was the best vacation yet! We were so busy enjoying each other that we didn’t bother to go shopping. Upon returning home, my mother realized we didn’t have a souvenir of our time together so she purchased four crosses, one for each of us. It turned out to be the perfect gift, as we had attended daily mass in Phoenix to start each day.
