When I received my cross as a Christmas present from my Florida friend, Cathie; I was inspired by the story & charmed by its perfectly flawed philosophy. And I considered the prayer on it: Hope. I came to realize that my usual prayers were for strength, endurance, & understanding. I was asking God to avert all the impending disasters I feared, or at least, help me through them when they happened!! I had no hope! I am reminded to pray for blessings & goodness to prevail, to hope for an Answered Prayer! I need my Cross for now, but I HOPE God will show me when to share it.
