I received this cross at a women’s ministry event at my church, Generations Christian Church.
I am praying that God will show me who it is meant for. For me, the cross is a reminder of God’s
incredible love for us and His desire for us to seek Him, know Him, love Him, and live for Him. Christ
is the image of the invisible God (Colossians 1:15) and the exact representation of God and his glory
(Hebrews 1:3). We can only know God and His love for us through Jesus Christ and His sacrifice on the
cross for us, bringing us forgiveness and salvation from our sins.
Jesus said in John 17:3 that eternal life is knowing the only true God and Jesus Christ whom he sent.
That kind of living starts now through repentance, prayer, Bible study, fellowship with other followers of Christ,
obedience to God’s Word, and sharing that way of living with others. Galatians 2:20 and 2Corinthians 5:15
“‘“The Lord bless you
and keep you;
the Lord make his face shine on you
and be gracious to you;
the Lord turn his face toward you
and give you peace.”’
