This cross was given to me as a gift not long after our family suffered a tremendous tragedy. In the first weeks and months, my faith was shaken. I have come to realize that my faith was being tested. Our Heavenly Father wanted me to give my faith and trust, along with all the sorrow and despair, to Him. While I will always feel the sadness of this event, I take comfort that by walking the path that God has prepared for me I will again know joy and His promise of eternal life in paradise. So, with faith … and gratitude, I will wait. May God bless and protect all who read my story.
