My daughter received this heart while serving with our church’s youth service camp, Riot – Van Dyke Church. My daughter felt moved to share the heart with me when she returned from camp. My heart says, “For we walk by Faith, not by sight” 2 Corinthians 5:7. When she gave the heart to me, I thought, “how nice, something to hang in my office”. Nice story, idea, etc. Tonight I decided to register my heart. What really struck me was when I read on the webpage about the need to and purpose of passing it on. By keeping it, it just becomes another “thing”.
My daughter just graduated high school and we are facing the next step in her life. I have been praying for the Lord’s direction and leading for her future. This verse reminded me to place my daughter and her future into the hands of the only one perfectly equipped to guide and direct her. He’s totally got this! Now, I’m prayerfully waiting to see where this heart will go next. It may start out in my office, but it won’t be staying! Thank you and God bless your ministry.
