I received this cross at a women’s cancer weekend retreat sponsored by Faces of Courage (Brandon, FL 2015). I am a three time cancer survivor – at the age of 39 I was diagnosed with colon cancer; ten years later I was diagnosed with melanoma; and then two years ago with breast cancer. I’m not holding on to the cross for very long because a dear friend of mine was just diagnosed with lymphoma.
