I received my cross from my sweet sister-in-law, Jill. Jill often encourages as we both have a relationship with our Lord. It took me a long time to learn what having a true relationship was. Yes, I went to church. I did the “church”. I was “religious” I said my nightly prayers. So I was good…..wrong. I know I saved but I have learned that life is more than just doing the things you are supposed. Our Lord wants a true relationship with me. A relationship that involves constant communication (prayer) with him, pouring your heart out to him, trusting Him, reading the bible. Then sharing Him with others. I am sorry I took me until I got to be in my 40’s to learn. No, I still don’t get it right. I need His mercy & grace daily. But now I have true joy in my life with my relationship with the Lord!
