PORT RICHEY, Florida
This Summer I lost my 57 year old daughter to Lung/brain cancer. She left two two daughters 23 and 21 yrs. old. The 21 year old is Autistic who was graduating high school with prom and her mom wanted everything to go smoothly for her.
She neglected herself to assure her daughter had fond memories of graduation which was a great accomplishment.
The trauma of sitting in the hospital with her for 3 days and nights just drained me. I prayed and prayed for a miracle and my prayers were not answered. But I did resolve myself on the last night, I asked for a priest to come and give her last rites. He anointed her and prayed over her and with the final blessing he commented that she was free of all sins and was on her way to heaven. She passed the next morning at 10am. AS a ,mother, I wanted to hold on to her as long as possible.
When my cross arrived, a wave of peace came over me. and I will hold on to it and pass it on to my grand daughter.
