My dear friend from kindergarten, Carole Ware-McKenzie, was traveling with APP and made a stop in our city. We met at Starbucks to catch up on old times and she introduced me to Elizabeth. While Carole was speaking with another friend I had the opportunity to share some information about my family. Before I left she said she wanted me to have a cross for my youngest son who is an electrical lineman and just purchased a home. Since he is a young man (21) she said “just slip it in his dresser drawer” in his home. I pray for God’s hand of protection upon my son daily (especially with his high risk job). I have inscribed Psalm 121:6-8 on the back of the cross. I plan to place it in his home, and someday he may feel the urge to pass it on to someone else…..May God bless Carole and Elizabeth for all they do in HIS name!
