I chose my “It’s a Girl! BABIES are such sweet beginnings” cross at the Magnificat Breakfast held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Coral Springs, Florida. It comes as no surprise that the story featured as I register my cross is of Ayden, the seven-year old to be baptized. I chose my cross specifically for my first grandchild who was not yet born as of the Magnificat Breakfast. My daughter, although Roman Catholic and having received all the Sacraments of the Church, has decided the baby will not be Baptized.
Brooke Lynn was born on August 3, 2016. As I prepare to place the cross in her room today, I pray that my daughter and her husband will see the light and realize the importance of sanctifying grace and the gift of the Holy Spirit on this wonderful little gift from God.
