I first heard of making the crosses at First Unity Church. My husband, who rarely goes out to evening events with me, went with me. We each put the designs on at least 10 crosses, and I chose a cross that says LOVE as my reward. Most of the crosses I made had hearts, a symbol that speaks to me. I hope I’ll be reminded to be loving and to attract even more love into my life. I loved being a foster mother 15 years ago, and in my heart, I still see myself with a child.
