I was given this cross the other night by a wonderful, Godly woman whom I only see about once a year. She had heard about a hard time we are going through.
I am a strong Christian and my family loves and serves the Lord daily. But my husband lost his job in January, and after 4 months, he had to take a job in St. Loius, so he left in our camper to live up there alone, for the next year until we can get on our feet. We all (me and our six children) miss him desparately, but we are trusting the Lord to get us through and even grow us in the process.
We have continually asked God for direction, discernment, and confirmation of His hand in this. To me, this cross became a part of that confirmation. I will treasure it, until it is time to pass it to someone in similar circumstances….
