I was looking through several of these crosses to give to friends for Christmas. As my daughter (3) and I were deciding which ones to give to each person, I dropped this one and it broke!! It was my least favorite cross of the bunch, but it was mine now that I broke it! I think it is to remind me that beauty is not skin deep.
This cross and the wonderful lady that started this ministry have also reminded me that it is OK to reach out during difficult times. My husband is deployed this year and it will be our first Christmas since having kids (8, 6, and 3) apart. It helps me to look at this cross and know I am not alone.
