I received this cross from a friend’s mom. She shared this beautiful cross with me after she learned of the recent, very unexpected loss of my mom. My mom entered into our Savior’s loving arms on 8-17-10 at the age of 56. She did not suffer; going peacefully in her sleep. We are deeply saddened by our loss, but have a sense of peace in knowing she is in a much better place. She loved the Lord and was often found writing down quotes she heard in various places and posting them on the door of our fridge. Whenever she caught you reading them, she asked you what it meant. Before I was saved, the quotes didn’t hold the meaning and value that they do now that my eyes have been opened and I gave my life to my Savior. The Lord is giving us the strength we need to get by each day and he will heal all our pain as time goes on. The love I have for my mother will never cease. I was truly blessed to call her mom for 30 years. I am so thankful that I not only have my fath er and sister, but I was blessed with an amazing husband that shares my love of the Lord. The blessings he continues to bestow upon my life are endless and I am so thankful for everything he continues to do for me! God Bless!
