This cross was given to me by a Gerry, a close friend of many years. Our families have been like one, and we are like sisters. We have shared many joyful times over the years, and recently some heartbreaking sorrows. Our love and support for each other is uplifting. She gave it to me now, when I am struggling with grief over the sudden loss of my precious grandson. It reminds me that we are all one in Christ, and will be reunited one day with our loved ones.
