I had an anger issue from young on until I was 46 years old. I reveled in my anger and unforgiveness. But, I did not realize it was killing me…I was drinking the poison of anger and hoping the people with whom I was angry were getting sick. A circumstance caused me to read The Lord’s Prayer and I saw the forgiveness portion of that prayer in a different light. Over the course of three days, I forgave everyone with whom I was angry. A peace flooded over me and my life has become immeasurably better. I have never looked back. Now, when someone angers me, I immediately forgive the person. Thanks be to God for this peace….
