I was born and raised in Nassau, The Bahamas, where I grew up in a loving household with my parents and older sister. We were always taught the love of Jesus growing up, and I discovered it on a personal level when I was around 13 years old. Ever since, it’s been quite the journey, especially going to a secular, liberal arts college after coming from such a secure home. However, God used these 4 years from 2013-2017 to bring me even closer to him, opening my eyes to see the world as he does and make friends from every culture, race, gender and religion, loving them as he does. This cross was given to me by a dear friend at my college who helped me grow in my faith and challenged me throughout my college career. She will always hold a special place in my heart.
