God Taps

On June 16, 2017 I drove myself to the local hospital emergency room. I had weeks of subtle “God taps” which I totally ignored, tried to pretend they were not happening.  Finally by the morning of June 16th, I realized I had lost the ability to write, using a computer to put a sentence together was impossible.  At our local hospital, they did a CAT SCAN and determined I had a chronic subdural hematoma on my brain. They took me to Jefferson in Philadelphia within hours. On the morning of June 19th, 7:15 AM, they wheeled me to the operating room for a 3 hour brain surgery. Family and friends were “storming heaven”, as was my family who never left my side.  My week in the hospital was a bit of a blur… but I was aware I had my work cut out for me. With every passing day I am getting stronger and realize God’s presence as I slowly regain some of my loss and weaknesses. I know I will be whole again, on my knees I rejoice and give thanks to our awesome Lord.
May God be praised.
