My cross was given to me by a friend when my husband passed away unexpectedly a year ago. The cross has been a beautiful reminder to me that God is always with me, comforting me and giving me strength, each and every day. I am now passing the cross on to a new friend whose husband just passed away unexpectedly. I know the grief and pain she is experiencing and my prayer is that this cross will bring her comfort and keep her faith and trust in God strong, just as it does me.
