My 7 month old daughter Celeste received her cross as a baptism gift from our lovely family friend. The word on the front of the cross is “Peace”. For me as a mother, the cross reminds me to be patient and peaceful (I have a two year old daughter as well, and life can be very chaotic and filled with anxiety). For Celeste, I hope and pray that she lives a peaceful and happy life, treats others kindly, and embodies “let there be peace on earth and let it begin with me”.
