I was in St. Petersburg visiting family when my sister took us to meet Elizabeth to share what she and her organization does for the community. While we were there, we all selected a cross to take home with us. There were many to choose from and it was interesting to hear the story on how each cross is made. Within a few minutes I saw the “ONE” that immediately touched my heart. To me it was simple, rugged, and had that worn look to it. It reminds me of my father who was a simple and humble man that loved to serve the Lord. My cross stays with me during my travels as a police officer in South Florida, waiting to be passed on to that next someone in need.
