Cross #: 12.3212
Traca
Kingman, AZ
I was in FL (Brooksville) visiting my parents for Christmas and found my cross at a thrift store. I do not know where the store was located, (possibly Spring Hill), because I was being chauffeured and not paying attention. I had to google the Bible reference Matthew 17:14-20. I thought it was an unusual passage to reference on a decorative cross and I was going to put it back on the shelf because it didn’t speak to me personally. I then noticed the information on the tag and was intrigued. I figured for 50 cents it was worth bringing home so I could look up the web-link later. I think that was the best 50 cents I’ve ever spent at a thrift store! I am in love with this concept and mission outreach. I have been reading through all the registrations looking to see if I can find a previous story for my cross since it’s number is getting pretty old now (12.3212). I am so touched by what I am reading! I’ve had so many tears and goosebumps. I’ve said so many prayers as I’ve read story after story. I’ve been thinking about the scripture reference and have come to the conclusion that there are some minor demons in my life (diet and exercise related) that I could stand to have cast away. So, I will hold tight to my cross until I find someone in greater need that it will speak to. I wish I was closer to you because I would love to come help. I would probably have a wall full of them if I did! I love so many of them that I see pictured and I love how each one has meant something to the person that has had it in their possession. I plan to visit on my next trip to FL so I can personally pick out some for my friends. Many prayers and blessings for your continued mission work in 2018 and the years to come. God Bless You.
